Planning permission was granted for the conversion of a public house to a one-bedroom flat and a 4-bedroom HMO and a 5-bedroom HMO.
We provided strategic, planning, procedural and planning advice to the client to successfully challenge the Council’s refusal of permission for the proposed change of use on grounds of privacy and overlooking at ground floor level and use of the basement as a ‘galley-style-kitchen for one of the HMOs.
We obtained permission on appeal from the Council, subject to a financial contribution to be made to local SANG through a s106 agreement.
Currently, we are assisting with the discharge of planning conditions and advice relating to material changes to the scheme.
