We provided strategic, planning, procedural and planning law advice to the client leading on the delivery of consent for external alterations to a building in Flood Zone 3 and in a conservation area to facilitate an application under permitted development rights to change the use of a shop to the rear to a two-bedroom flat.
We coordinated all related consultants (e.g. flood risk and environmental, daylight and sunlight, architect) throughout the scheme, securing consent under delegated powers as well as dealing with complex legal issues to avoid being caught by an Article 4 Direction that otherwise would have blocked the development.
